Chair’s welcome

As we fast approach our 90th year, Millie Grant welcomes you to our 2022 Annual Review.

Changes at the top

Ryan Bish left us in September 2022, but we’ve brought in some fantastic new talent. Here’s how Lucy and Ellie are galvanising our work.

A year at Knights: updates from our sections

Blasts from the past

Knights is nearly 90. Thousands of young people have come through our doors since we opened in 1936: four of them share memories of fun and friendship from the fifties and sixties.

A sizzlin’ summer

Our summer programme is always special. In 2022 we offered exciting experiences to more than 90 young people - home and away.

Leading a community hub

In 2016, Knights decided to become a ‘community hub’ and host a range of other relevant services for young people. Three of our partners describe how it’s going from their perspective.

Our work with schools

Our schools work plays a critical role for local young people – it helps provide them with the skills and confidence to help them transition from primary to secondary school.

Accounts

Our operational costs were fully funded in 2022 - but funder priorities are changing.

2023…and beyond

One of our goals at Knights is to provide the best possible services to young people. How will we continue to deliver in the future?
