Juniors in 2022
Thriving Juniors,
rising numbers
Attendance in Juniors increased dramatically in 2022. Young people enjoyed attending and brought their friends.
Seeing young people enjoy themselves, engage each other and empowering them to grow has been a great experience for the team. We ran a wide range of experiences for the young people including sports, arts and crafts, trips to the park and making music in the studio. People from the community came to teach the young people to cook. We’ve been helping them manage their emotions and give new things a try - and have been successful in improving their manners and reducing unnecessary playfighting.
Football has been a club favourite for many years and 2022 was no exception. More than 25 young people participate in every session, and many have suggested we should form a team. Members took part in a successful football tournament.
Over the summer, Juniors went on numerous off-site trips including swimming and go-karting, as well as trips to Southend Beach and Wey Island. It was the busiest summer on-record.
